In order to protect the aquatic resources along the coast of Penghu, it is forbidden to catch coral reefs within 12 sea otters from the coast (including the off islands). Unauthorized coral reefs shall not be displayed, sold, imported or export. Any person who violates the rules promulgated by the Fisheries Act Article 60, shall be subject to imprisonment not exceeding three years, short-term imprisonment, or in lieu thereof or in addition thereto a fine of not exceeding one hundred and fifty thousand New Taiwan Dollars.
