The route is including Magong City and Huxi Township.
The features of this route include: volcanic landform on northern Huxi (crater, dyke swarm, marine abrasion topography, tuff wave-cut platform); marine depositional landform on the south of Huxi (the longest beach coast of Penghu Island) and the marine erosion and marine depositional coast of southern Penghu . In addition, the special landscapes of the route also include the Cingluo spit, Beiliao Kuibishan, Chiyu Geopark, craters in Suogang, aeolian landform, Shihli sand dune, and Fengguiwei pahoehoe lava.

Kuibishan and Chiyu:
The main scenes of Kuibishan and Chiyu area are Kuibishan itself, wave-cut platform, and Chiyu.
- From the top of Kuibishan, people are able to enjoy the beautiful sunrise; from the north and the northeast of the island, people can also see sea cliffs, beaches, wave-cut platforms, dykes, sea stacks and so on.
- Through the tied island gravel beach walking towards Chiyu, people can observe the detailed landscapes of the wave-cut platform, including beach, tied island gravel beach, wave-cut platform formed by red rock mass, dykes and giant pedestal rocks, basalt mesa, Residual platform group, pyroclastic rocks, and boulders composed of clastic rocks and basaltic magma.
- In Chiyu, you can observe the landscape formed by the intrusion of dykes and magma from the rock face; climb up the giant sea stacks formed by magma channels, and observe the rock mass and joints, or look at the nearby landscapes at the top of Chiyu.
- Then go to the wave-cut platform in Fanshuzi Weiyu to observe the sheeting joint formed by the condensation of alkali basalt rock mass, Xenolith, and basaltic lava. Also, people can closely observe the nearby stone weirs.
- Finally, walk along the coastal path at the foot of Kuibishan, observe the sea cliffs, wave-cut platforms, alkali basalt and pot holes; people can also go to Fanshuzi Weiyu to observe the wave-cut platform and sandbar landform.
Traffic Information
- Motorcycle/Car: The scenic spots of this route start from county road 202 of Huxi Township in Xixi. Drive east to Longmen, change to county road 204 to connect to Xingren, Magong City, and then change to county road 201 to southern district. The transportation to all the scenic spots is very convenient and easy. However, it is still suggested to make a plan before departure.
