Amendment of Cultural Heritage Preservation Act (Promulgated on 27th July 2016)

“Geopark” is added into Cultural Heritage Preservation Act amendment.

Be it enacted and promulgated by the Presidential Order Hua-Zong-(1)-Yi-Zih No. 10500082371 on the 27th July of the 105th Year of the Republic of China, with 113 articles, and shall take effect as of the date of promulgation.

Chapter 6 Natural Landscapes and Natural Monuments

Article 78 Natural landscape shall be categorized as natural reserves or geoparks, depending on their characteristics. Natural monuments include valuable and rare plants, minerals, and special topographic and ecological phenomena.
